Starlight Cleaning Policies And Procedures


Starlight Cleaning Payment can be made via Interac Email Money Transfer (on the day before the clean), or left as cash/cheque on your stovetop in a sealed envelope with business name written on it.

Cancellation Policy

We understand there may be times when you have a change of plans. However, we do require 48 hours notice to reschedule your cleaning service. If a new time slot is not available that week, payment for the missed clean will be subject to a %50 charge is required. (Please consider that this is our income and have sudden changes in schedule or cancellation can have a great impact.)

Special Requests/Extras

If you require any special or extra services, please make arrangements for these services at least one week prior to your regular scheduled cleaning day. We may accommodate requests without adequate notice.

If you are going away for an extended period of time, we can certainly put your cleaning on hold until your return. We may not be able to guarantee the same day and/or time when you return, but we will definitely fit you back into our schedule.

Cleaning Supplies And Equipment

Star Light Cleaning will provide the cleaning supplies, except for a vacuum (due to allergy and pet concern). If you have a special request, such as the use of different cleaning chemicals, please let us know.

Feedback - Positive Or Negative

Please always feel free to email or call if you have any questions, concerns, or positive feedback on your cleaning services. If there are details that need improvement, we need to know so that they can be taken care of properly. And, we love to pass positive comments along to our staff as well!

Damage And Breakage Policy

We take the utmost care in cleaning your home. However, in the event that we do accidentally break or damage an item, a note will be left, and we will personally contact you to find out the value of the item. At that time, we will work out whether a replacement item will be obtained, or monetary compensation will be provided.

Keys/Entry Codes

If you are not going to be home at the time of the scheduled service, Star Light Cleaning needs to be provided with a key or the code to enter your home. If you would prefer for us to keep the key to your home, please clearly write name on it.


If you refer someone within our cleaning area to Cleaning, and they sign up for regular cleaning, you will receive 25% off your next clean.
